Boomwhackadoodles is a fun and action packed musical program for ages 6 and up. Children learn basic music notation, practice rhythm patterns, and how to keep a steady beat using boomwhackers and hand held bells. Children benefit from the small group setting where they engage in movement which refine their motor skills, helps improve attention, coordination, and promote positive social interaction.
Boomwhackers are lightweight, hollow, color-coded, plastic tubes, tuned to musical pitches by length. They are used as musical instruments in the percussion family. Boomwhackers produce musical tones when struck together, on the floor, or nearly any surface.
The handheld bells are color-coded like the boomwhackers and come in the same various pitches but the resonance is different.
The New Old School of Music provides students of all ages with positive, engaging, quality music education programs delivered by highly trained, experienced and nurturing professionals. Learn more>>
